New Website for Gamlin Roofing

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

We have just completed a re-build of Gamlin Roofings website.

The new website is an upgrade from a slow to load flash website that was almost invisible in the search engines.

In our design brief, we were asked to update the website to show of the beautiful examples of their work, increase Gamlins’ visibility in search engines and speed up the load time of the website and enhance usability.

We have retained some flash elements on the page to give it some movement but have built a website with a strong html base.  We have included lots of images on the site which show of the quality of Gamlins’ work.  It is a site that presents the business well to potential developers as it’s not the site of the usual roof plumbers of the past.

We think the site will certainly catch the attention of property developers looking to employ the services of an equally professional roofing company.

Content Management System for websites

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Design a web Noosa is now able to offer a content management system for their websites.

We have been critically examining many and varied systems for clients to update their websites.

Although there have been many systems designed to accomplish this task, many Content Management Systems CMS’s have failed in their:

  • lack of usability
  • disregard for search engines and SEO

Our new CMS allows us to build the pages  including all proper SEO page techniques, but allows the client to update and change page content.  The new Content Management System can be retrofitted to current static websites.
